Conversation- Key Education Issues

Invitation – Conversation on Continuing Education/Professional Development at AAM

A focus group on Continuing Education/Professional Development needs across the Museum, Library, and Archives communities will be held at the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) conference on Thursday, May 26, 4-5:30 pm at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, 901 Massachusetts Ave., NW, Washington, DC (room TBA).

The focus group, sponsored by the Coalition to Advance Learning in Archives, Libraries, and Museums, will discuss key education issues for museums, libraries, and other types of cultural heritage institutions. It is intended to be a small group – facilitating discussion among museum professionals in the field about their educational needs. The findings will inform the Coalition’s work to gather information about the needs across these communities.
