On Sept. 19, 2008, a devastating fire gutted Chicago’s Chinese-American Museum. The building sustained extensive damage and many significant objects were lost including papier mache dioramas. Debbie Linn owner of Linn Art Conservation Services and SHER Vice Chair, worked with staff to recover and salvage objects damaged in the fire. She will present a power point discussion of this recovery and salvage project for us. Debbie has extensive experience working with many Chicago area art museums and has been working in the conservation field since 2000. For further information call Sherryl Lang at 233-4501
