Researching African American Genealogy becomes very difficult before 1870, but Nancy will review and evaluate all of the resources available to help with that quest. Nancy is an experienced genealogist who has been with the library for fourteen years. She has done an extensive amount of research on the Civil War, Mitchelville, and the soldiers of the 21st Regiment, USCT.
