On behalf of the South Carolina Archival Association:

Attend SCAA’s Summer Social In Lancaster SC on Friday, July 11th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Meet and greet your colleagues, tour a unique repository and community, and support SCAA at the same time. Join us for the afternoon as we tour the USC Lancaster Native American Studies Center with Archaeologist Christopher Judge and Brent Burgin, Director of the Archives, to learn more about its historical holdings and unique Catawba Indian and Native American Collections. The walking tour will include visits to the nearby historic court house and the Old Presbyterian Church.

This event is the fundraiser for the SCAA’s scholarship program, the Darrick L. Hart Endowment Fund. Awards up to $500 are made available to current SCAA members through an application and review process to attend continuing educational training.
Cost is $15.00 for SCAA members and $10.00 for students.

You may register for the event online at: href=””>

There will be an optional lunch-on-your-own at nearby Charley’s Café in Lancaster prior to the program. The menu for Charley’s can be found here:
