Women’s Roles in the History and Development of Hilton Head Island

Lou Benfante, Heritage Library Foundation President, and Dee Phillips, History Department Volunteer, will present “Women’s Roles in the History and Development of Hilton Head Island,” on May 8th at 2:00 at the Heritage Library located at 852 William Hilton Parkway.  The presentation will cover historical events that have occurred throughout Hilton Head Island’s past and the women who played important roles during these times.

Fee:  $5 for members; $10 for non-members.

(I think I am the only woman that has played an active role as part of the development team of a major development in modern times. History, Polo, etc. Just mentioning it to you!)
