Queen Quet Presents "Gullah/Geechee: A Timeless Legacy"

Tune in to the Gullah/Geechee TV (www.gullahgeechee.tv) coverage of the launch of the “Gullah/Geechee Land & Legacy World Tour.”  Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) presented “Gullah/Geechee: A Timeless Legacy” at Francis Marion University in Florence, SC.   This presentation was followed by a Q & A in which Queen Quet was asked to dialogue about the reason that the Gullah language has survived and had resurgence while many other world languages, especially creoles are dying.  The language, Carolina gold rice, and numerous other aspects of Gullah/Geechee history and culture come alive in this histo-musical presentation which shows why this is a timeless legacy.
