Museum Collections Stewardship Grant

Through the Collections Stewardship category of its Museums for America program, the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) provides funding for documentation, preservation, and conservation of tangible and digital collections to sustain and improve public access.  Grants range from $5,000 to $150,000 (a match of one to one is required) and may support planning for collections management, care, and conservation; treatment of collections; rehousing; digitization; surveys; environmental improvements; or training.  Visit IMLS’s website for more information.
