Preservation Tip


MACC Preservation Tip: Take an assessment of your institution’s past, current and on-going preservation activities and record the findings (i.e. the schedule of regular maintenance work and cleanings, the dates and descriptions of specific actions such as storage improvements). This sets a context, can add line items to an existing conservation budget, and demonstrates that preservation is ongoing by actions. These recorded actions can be articulated in grant applications.
