Here’s a preview of some of the items that will be available for auction this Saturday evening
at Historic Beaufort Foundation’s Lafayette Soiree
Fine Dining

Fall Feast at Frogmore Manor. Item #1
Enjoy dinner for 12 at historic Frogmore Manor on St Helena Island.
Minimum bid: $600.

Downtown Dinner at the BB Sams House II. Item #2
This historic home overlooking the “ Green” in the Point area of the Historic District will be your destination for an elegant dinner. Gather 14 of your friends for a lovely evening!
Minimum bid: $600.

Fall luncheon at Laurel Spring: Item #3
Laurel Spring is a former rice plantation set on the Combahee, and the setting for this luncheon for up to 16. Included is a tour of the house and surrounding grounds.
Minimum bid: $400.

Gourmet Dinner and Tour of Tabby Ruins on Dataw. Item #4
The club house at Dataw, with its fabulous new chef, will be the setting for this gourmet dinner for four lucky people. A tour of the tabby ruins, the former plantation of the Sams family, is included.
Minimum bid: $350.

Progressive Dinner Boat Cruise on Factory Creek. Item #5
Eight privileged people will begin their evening from Sunset Bluff with a sunset cruise complete with cocktails and appetizers aboard a comfortable pontoon, known on the Beaufort River as the “party barge”. Followed by a fabulous progressive dinner.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share with your family or friends. If you have a wedding or special family reunion this year, don’t let this item get away.

Charleston Fall Getaway. Item #9
You will love the location of this beautiful home in the historic “South of Broad” district of downtown Charleston where you and a few friends will be able to stay for two evenings. “Temple of Sport” Oyster Roast. Item #12
Located just 25 minutes from Beaufort in the heart of the ACE Basin, the Temple of Sport is a fabulously rustic location for an all-inclusive oyster roast for 25 couples (children are welcome). Oyster Roast on Capers Creek. Item #19
This fall, or winter, enjoy an oyster roast for 14 on Capers Creek on St. Helenas Island. You will also be served chili and hot dogs with all the trimmings. The setting for this event will be the outdoor pavilion, known as the Cook Shed, so whatever the weather, you will stay dry and be able to enjoy the roaring fireplace. A full bar is included.
