Burning of Bluffton Commemoration


The Union forces set Bluffton ablaze on June 4, 1863.  The Bluffton Historical Preservation Society is commemorating this historic event with two programs, Saturday, June 4, 2011:

1) The Heyward House will be open for free tours, tea and storytelling from 11 am – 2 pm.

2) That evening, beginning at 6 pm, the Colcock-Teel House will be the site of a Lowcountry Boil and Music event.  Fee.
