PALMCOP Phase Box Workshop
August 5, 2010
11:30-2:30

A terrific workshop for the cost of lunch!  Save money on book preservation as well!!

This workshop will teach attendees to make simple, economical, and preservation-quality protective housing for fragile and damaged books. The session will focus on techniques that do not require expensive equipment and supplies and can be performed successfully after a short training period.  In other words, just the type of training that will be of greatest benefit to our hard-pressed organizations!

Audience: Space is limited to 12 people and no prior training is needed.

Cost: The fee is $10 to cover the cost of lunch, which will be provided; the workshop is free.

Food: A vegetarian option is available. If you have any dietary restrictions, please contact DebbieLee Landi.

RSVP: Please RSVP to DebbieLee Landi by August 2, 2010 and the form is below.

Please make checks payable to PALMCOP and send your check to Heather South. Her address is Preservation Officer, SC Department of Archives and History, Columbia, SC 29223.
