Tues., March 30th — “Searching for Gov. Moultrie’s Forgotten People,” by Colin Brooker, 5:30 pm – 6:30pm, Paul Siegmund Room, 311 Scott Street, Beaufort, 2nd floor

 Mon., April 12th“Disaster Preparedness Panel for Artists” @ Arts Council of Beaufort County Office in Beaufort Town Centre retail complex on Hwy 21, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Fri., April 16th“Indian’s Revenge:  Including a History of the Yamassee Indian War, 1715 -1728” by William McIntosh, III (Author Book Talk) Lobeco Branch, 4:00 – 5:00 pm. 

Thurs., April 29th – “Building Fort Lyttleton, 1757 – 1758,” by Dr. Nicholas M. Butler   (2 Sessions / 2 Locations):

  • Afternoon Program, Hilton Head Branch, 1:00 – 2:00 pm
  • Evening Program, Paul Siegmund Room, 311 Scott Street, Beaufort, 2nd floor, 5:30pm – 6:30pm

 Thurs., May 6th“Indian’s Revenge:  Including a History of the Yamassee Indian War, 1715 -1728” by William McIntosh, III (Author Book Talk) Children’s Programming Room, Beaufort Branch Library, 5:30pm – 6:30pm. Please note:  Room Capacity is 45.  Doors open at 5:00pm. 

 Sat., May 22nd – Hands on “Oral History Workshop,” presented by the Citadel Oral History Program and the Avery Research Center for African American History and Culture; Sponsored by the Beaufort District Collection and Penn Center; Interactive Workshop is limited to 40 registrants.  Please note: Registration required.  Workshop will be held in the Children’s Programming Room, Beaufort Branch Library, 311 Scott Street, Beaufort, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.   

 Tues., May 25th – “Native Plants,” by Master Naturalist, Laura Rose of Clemson University Extension, Bluffton Branch Library, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm, Large Meeting Room
