Mr. Campbell is a well known Gullah authority and Chairman of the Gullah/
Geechee Cultural HeritageCorridor Committee and Executive Director
Emeritus for Penn Center. Mr. Campbell is the author of the guidebook
“Gullah Cultural Legacies.” Mr. Campbell will talk about growing up on Hilton Head Island, his work with a culture that has flavored regional folklore, arts, crafts, food and music.
