If you want to come by the Beaufort District Collection to pick up some “Archaeology Month” posters OR if you want me to send some to Hilton Head Branch or Bluffton Branch for you to pick up from them, just let me know.
To see the digital version of the poster go to http://www.cas.sc.edu/sciaa/PdfDocs/ArchMonthPoster2009_cover.pdf for the front and http://www.cas.sc.edu/sciaa/PdfDocs/ArchMonth%20Poster2009_back.pdf for the back. Be patient. It takes awhile for the images to download.
I’ll admit that the Library system got first dibs on the 300 posters we picked up in Columbia. [I'll be giving some out at the final Archaeology Month lecture Dr. Tim Lockley, University of Warwick on "Maroon Communities in South Carolina," 1 pm USC-B Performing Arts Theater tomorrow.] However, there are still plenty to share.
Call me at 470-6525 or e-mail me at gracec@bcgov.net to arrange your pick-up.
