• Money raised: $1664 to go towards the purchase of historical marker(s)
• Painting “Heart of Beaufort” is not the property of Carol Mulhall
• Alvesta Robertson was crowned “Queen” of the neighborhood
• Sons of Beaufort Lodge #36 raised $1000 from the fish fry which will be applied to the further restoration of their historic building
Rosalyn Browne and Ada McKenzie, of Penn Center, estimate that about
• 200-250 people came to the Smithsonian’s African American Treasures initiative on Sunday, May 31st.
