The May issue of the SC State Archives’ On the Record, Online newsletter is now available at: http://arm.scdah.sc.gov/otrol/. Of particular interest to us is the SC ArchCat online. At long last, online researchers can go beyond the Summary Lists of records and access the
“catalog from anywhere and search extensive records descriptive information, including individual folder listings within boxes. … The SC ArchCat is found at http://rediscov.sc.gov.”
SCDAH is asking for feedback, although they don’t have a separate link from the SC ArchCat or the SCDAH homepage saying whom to send the feedback. I hope that sending feedback via the form at http://archives.sc.gov/nonresearchcontact.htm will suffice.
