The Beaufort County Historical Society in celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the oldest regional association in Beaufort County dedicated to the study and preservation of history will host the first meeting of 2009.
On Thursday, Feb. 12 will be a Panel discussion of local Beaufortonians living in Beaufort in 1939 including BCHS Board members Dot Gnann and Bubba Von Harten and others. Come celebrate our wonderful heritage and listen to our history first hand.
This lively discussion will be at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall at the corner of Church and North St.
Prior to the noon meeting there will be a light lunch served at 11:30 for an $10 donation.
